Hello there, I’m Christoph.
As a Product Designer from Germany with over 8 years of experience, I create user-centered products that balance user needs with business goals. I collaborate closely with product managers and engineers, prototyping early concepts and iterating quickly to deliver intuitive, impactful experiences.
Currently, I’m a Product Designer at ToolTime, focusing on building scalable design systems and tools that help craftsmen manage their businesses efficiently.
Previously, I was a Senior Product Designer at Europace, shaping the future of home financing with cohesive design systems, and at Plunet, I helped translation agencies and freelance translators streamline their workflows.
What I’m Passionate About
Design, Product and Code
I enjoy contributing to the full process: understanding user problems, designing flows and interfaces, prototyping ideas and supporting front-end implementation.
Users and Problem-Solving
Users are always at the center of my work. I love uncovering their needs and solving complex problems through accessible, thoughtful and elegant products.
Collaboration
I strongly believe that great products are built by diverse teams. I enjoy working with designers, engineers, researchers, and product managers, combining our strengths to ship products that make a difference.
Curiosity and Learning
earning has always been a source of joy for me: exploring new tools and technologies, figuring out how things work or immersing myself in different cultures. I’ve recently been learning Japanese, which has been both fun and rewarding.
Other Things I Like
Cooking
I love spending time in the kitchen, trying new dishes and baking all kinds of treats. Lately, I’ve been diving into breadmaking and just started my sourdough starter – wish me luck! 🤞
Video Games
Exploring new worlds is my favorite way to unwind. Some all-time favorites are Beyond Good & Evil, the Yakuza series and Ori and the Blind Forest.
Japan
I’ve visited Japan three times and love its culture, landscapes, and food. Every trip leaves me wanting to explore more.
